What do you want?
"What do you want?" is an invitation to an adventurous journey of joy.
The answer is not a fast food solution. It requires you to enter into a whole new kind of journey. It will require you to go certain places, meet certain people, refine skillsets, and develop new character to navigate this new terrain...just to answer the question.
If you are engaging in pioneering work, it means you are destined to go somewhere that no one else has been before. Be aware that the enemy of your soul wants to distract you by luring you into duplicating x famous person's prototype, rather than creating your own...this will stop forward movement for you.
"What do you want?" is meant to lead you.
This question reveals God's assignments for your life.
It is an entirely different way of discerning God's will for your life, even though you will need to partner with the Holy Spirit the entire time for your new heart desires to make sense.
"What do you want?" is Gospel AKA Good News.
Jesus purchased your new heart by his death and resurrection.
Simply writing it off by misusing some scriptures out of context in Jeremiah dismisses the bigger story that God is weaving in the world.
The good news is: you don’t need to listen to the curmudgeon’s who want you to hustle at the expense of your heart.
In fact, you will encounter so much goodness when you obey the voice of your new heart desire, it will show you just how good your Father in heaven is.
"What do you want?" is the vehicle for God's strategies.
New Heart desire is the strategy.
Desire will reveal God's assignments for your life.
You will be faced with the question, "How?" thousands of times in your life.
New Heart desire has the keys to that door, and will always be there, as the Holy Spirit will always be there to partner with you.
"What do you want?" requires you to do "the work".
God doesn't simply always drop "downloads" out of the heavens because that would shortcut your character formation.
It will cost you to answer this question, but it is always worth it.
No matter how hard.
The Desireful God wants you to participate with Him and discover the deeper answers of desire by hunting for it. By learning, growing, stretching yourself with risks of every kind.
"What do you want?" is not meant to be answered alone.
God built you to need community, "it is not good to be alone."
Clarity of New Heart desire is often waiting for an encounter with another person who will love you enough to challenge you, celebrate with you, ask you the hard questions, or give you timely robust wisdom.
A true friend knows not" to do for their friend what they could do for themselves."
A good friend will support you, not rescue you from struggles that are designed to form you.
"What do you want?" guides the unfolding story of your life.
Your entire life God is developing and leading you to discover who you are, in light of who He is. The essence of who you are is in your heart and your desire leads your heart. As you step into authenticity experience the impact your were designed for in your calling, it will inevitably mean you become clear on desire...what you want from your redeemed New Heart.
New Heart vs. Old Heart Desires
The reason 100% of people (at some point in their journey) struggle with the question: "What do you want?" is because we are all on a journey to discern the difference between desires from the new heart and the old heart.

Clarify the Design of Your Desires

What does your "Design" mean?
You have a unique set of desires that have been gifted to you by God if you accept His gift to you in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The desires you had since childhood are a shadow of the fulfillment God intended, but only truly make sense when clarified and redeemed.
The secret to getting unstuck and keeping movement and momentum going is engaging your God-given Design, but before you do that, you need to name it.
- Flesh out your design in a practical way that moves you to such specific and deep level of clarity that it causes you to take action.

The specific characteristics of the unique people you are designed to serve with your design. These people compel you to action, they are your "mission field" in the world.

The specific results, transformation, or end-product you inevitably produce when you are in your design. (The business world calls this your product.)

Your soul is designed with a prioritizing order of strength of motivation. #1-5 is what we name in this process, all you really need to know. Once you know how the deepest parts of you are built to operate, everything else falls in line as there is a ripple effect from your highest motivation down to your lowest. I have made huge decisions based on how my design order is based. This is where the real magic comes in. Most people are unprioritized in what they are doing. The real power is–when you find the top categories. But truth be told, coming up to this solidified crystalized top five list is not easy. This is why I build a hardened process that does the bulk of the heavy-lifting for you. Leadership is tough, especially when your responsibilities feel overwhelming. Solving the riddle of how to fund Kingdom movements is incredibly complex. It is much harder when you are living by someone's blueprint that doesn't align with who you are. With proper application, God has gifted you with a design that knows how to sustain itself and thrive.
Get the Word out (AKA Marketing) for your Movement
As gross as the "M" word is for some people, the reason you may not like it is because you need a boost in clarity in how you are uniquely designed to do it. Your overall design gets at the core of who you are so you can apply it into the topic of marketing.
Find Your People (Including Friends and Your Spouse)
The movement you are called to lead has specific people that you are designed to reach. Most people struggle with finding good friends. You are meant to befriend specific types of people based on how your New Heart desire expresses itself. This even includes your spouse.
Engage and Lead Your Team
Your team doesn't need a super spiritual version of you, they need the real thing. God designed you to the core to lead your team with unusual style that aligns only to your soul. You will find yourself loving team meetings rather than loathing them on your calendar the more you lead the way you are designed.
Seize your Permission!
There is a time to slow down and be in a restful season. And there is a time to go after it! Too much "spiritual" training around movement in the Church has caused warriors-at-heart to wait on God when He is waiting on you to step out on the battlefield. If you want to experience the movement that is in your dreams it will require you to go on the offensive and be in attack-mode by leveraging your new heart's desires.
Support Your Spouse and Parent Your Children
If you are married, you have been entrusted with the sacred task of supporting your partner to help bring their design to life. The same goes for your children. But you must support them the way you are designed to do it, otherwise you will burn out. Marriage and parenting is hard enough, God will revive your soul and refresh you when you engage your New Heart's design to fuel you.
Designology is an Intangible Experience,
What are the "Tangible" Benefits?
All tangible realities come from an intangible influence. The emphasis in Designology is focus on New Heart Desire as the starting point of all actions. Out of that place, it your physical world around you will shift.
Save Vast Amounts of Time
Procrastination = "Not in Design". When you identify the boundaries of your design, it translates to time used and harnessed. Do not waste another moment of your life doing something you are unsure about. No longer are you procrastinating when you leverage your design because you can focus on the areas your heart is designed for, you will know that based on the cross-validating process.
Resources
If you aim your ministry and/or work at making money that is not within the boundaries of your design, you are working against the current of the river of God's blessing in your life. However, when you go with the river, provision usually comes. (This does not mean you will necessarily be wealthy.) Your new heart knows how to sustain itself. Your ability to obtain Kingdom resources leveraging your design also depends on how developed or mature each individual part of your design is that you are seeking to make a living from. We we will explore that in a section of Designology. In the end, there should be no surprises, as to why you do or do not have sustainable provision coming.
Joy
Joy is the fruit engaging new heart desire. If you are not experiencing deep joy it is usually because you lost connection somewhere with God's heart in you. To experience joy you will need to let go, and risk trusting. But what will you trust? God desires for you to gain sufficient evidence that your design is in fact your design.
Focus and New Heart Productivity
Scatteredness is usually the by-product of not having enough clarity on a specific level of the complex ways God designed you. Most visionary Kingdom leaders like apostles and prophets get lost in the maze of their own excellent ideas because they lack clarity. Your heart will not be tricked into just focusing for the sake of focus for too long, it needs robust cross-validating reasons why it it will settle into one groove. You will do the hard focusing-work in Designology to name your twenty-five categories including 5 Superpowers, 5 Environments, 5 People, 5 Tools, and 5 Fruit categories. They will be ranked by strength of new heart desire with specific customized language that no one else has exactly, like you. Throughout Designology you will also see how much more productive you will be when you thrive in your New Heart desires.
Confidence and Hope
Confidence is a by-product of clarity. 1,000+ hours have been devoted to building the entire process from the ground up to take you through a rigorous cross-checking process that brings deep clarity on the priority-levels of how God designed your heart's motivations, from the highest to the least. Not only will this clarity bring confidence, it will also inspire hope in your soul because you will see in a fresh way that your design has a future and a place in this world.
Connection with the Designer (AKA God)
Knowing how God designed you on deeper levels means you have to grow deeper with the Holy Spirit, learning to hear His voice in more nuanced ways. Your design was His idea and it requires you to be deeply dependent on Him for it to work. My design is not only beautiful but needed by those I'm designed to serve. I'm not confused anymore about why I am the way that I am. My design is not up for debate anymore. My trust in God has grown, and I feel more permission and clarity to move into God-sized dreams. I've just quit my corporate job of 10.5 years to start a business I never would have given the chance prior to Designology. In hindsight, I can now see my wilderness season was divine intervention to keep me from settling for a lesser dream.

Before: I spent 5 decades making decisions based on old belief systems that part of me KNEW didn't make sense, but I didn't have a framework to challenge them. I kept trying to do what I thought I was supposed to, or what others said I should be doing, but all those choices weren't working. Before: I did not have clarity on whether or not God was in fact calling me to my non-profit ministry. I sensed that God probably was, but the lack of support from some close to me made me question it. Designology was instrumental in me hearing from God that He was definitely calling me to continue to move my non-profit forward AND that I was THE person to lead the charge with my newly identified Apostolic gifting.

Before: I was aligned to a global prophetic ministry and interacted with prophets, many of whom I could not identify with, and who were using their gift in several different ways. As a result, I had lost a sense of who I was as a prophet and what God had called me to do.
After: I have a deep revelation of who God created me to be in a very specific way. This has given me clarity as to the strengths that come from my story, what are the spaces that my anointing flows best in and, very importantly, who are the people I am called to minister to and what do I use as tools to have an impact. Before: As a homeschool mom who married young, I struggled knowing who the real "me" was apart from the daily tasks of life. Course Topics
In this module you will dive deep into the entire story of the heart in the Christian faith starting in Genesis 1. We will explore the trajectory of how the heart is understood in an adventurous way. Having helped people for over a decade around the topic of desire, it is clear that if people do not build a robust theology or belief system around the heart, they are unlikely to engage the design of their God-gifted heart, especially when peer pressure is high.
We will be using three wildly different sources of information to mine for the richness and specificity of your design. It is clear that “Your heart needs multiple pieces of evidence before it is going to believe something so strong that it will take action on it.” This is why we attack this topic from so many angles because the heart can seem so elusive and intangible. We will be making the abstract concrete.
You will use a character that inspires you to serve as a metaphorical backdoor into your own design. Drawing on insights from this character consistently has delighted and surprised people into how much clarity can be gained.
We will explore the TOP 5 behavior or activity categories God designed you to engage, ranked in order of strength of motivation of desire…with specific language tailored to your soul. You will be given instructions on how to name your Superpowers. Naming your personal design is not enough. You need to know how mature each part is. This tool is what past clients have called the “Tool of Total Honesty” because it helps you move past hype or fear so you can realistically see where you are currently at developmentally in your design.
Without fail, the very voices and internal messages that stop you from moving into your gifts and purpose are tied to the core of how God designed you. You will go through a guided exercise to name and claim those in your life, especially the ones that feel like triggers in your life.
After naming your Limiting Beliefs, you will name the Releasing Beliefs that help you move beyond the fears that trap you and enter deep into liberating joyful action.

Over ten years ago I set out on one of the wildest journeys I could imagine to build the most life-giving, practical, and robust process on the planet to take people to new heights in clarity and empowerment in their God-gifted design. I now call that process “Designology”. I have now taken one hundred people through the process to intimately help them name how God has wired them, have met with hundreds of people in a professional coaching environment, accruing well over 1,000 hours of coaching. I have facilitated 20 cohorts in the context of three custom-built courses courses since 2021. The Fivefold Gifts Test I built has now been taken over 75,000 times and have learned a lot about who it draws and what those people need most in their calling. I bring a unique blend of formal theological training with an M.Div. from Denver Seminary, church planting experience, leadership in non-profits, churches, and have experience in the business, leadership coaching, and have been an ICF-certified life coach. I am fortunate that I have professionally coached and worked with people at all stages of the journey including senior pastors, church planters, CEO’s, Directors of Non-Profits, high-level military, stay-at-home parents or those just at the beginning of their journey of stepping into starting something brand new.
